Here we have an early MGB Roadster that needs to be finished restoring. Local car that had been in storage for many years and previous owner bought to make into restoration project. He did quite a bit of mechanical work, some cosmetics and then ran out of interest after a year or so. Body is fairly straight with some damage up by drivers side headlight and couple of surface rust spots here and there. Paint is older but shows okay and car looks to have been originally British Racing Green. Bumpers chrome is good with couple minor dents and comes with front over riders that were removed. Grill is good but car needs new rubber trim and detailing. Interior is original except both front seats have been redone nicely and dash pad is new. Old floors were cut out and new floors were professionally welded in, so solid underneath. Along with good frame rails, rockers etc. with pictures available upon request. Some new mats are there but needs new carpet kit installed. Gauges all work but front of dash needs to be cleaned and painted and gauges could be taken out and cleaned at same time. Soft top is there and in quite good shape along with nice tonneau cover. Door panels need replacing and need window and door cranks for drivers side. Mechanically she is real strong with engine and gearbox having recently been taken out and gone through. Head redone, new starter and rebuilt generator, new motor mounts, new clutch, slave cylinder etc. Brakes work well and car starts right up, has excellent oil pressure and runs very well. Original wire wheels are in good shape with almost new tires. Overall a good starting point for restoration project of very desirable early MGB Roadster.
