The Audi Forum Neckarsulm in Germany was marked by the presentation of a stunning Audi R8 V10 Plus wrapped in gold. This model pays homage to the R8’s triumph at the Golden Steering Wheel awards in the “sports car” category.
The Audi R8V10 Plus is equipped with a V10 engine. The engine delivers 610 hp and 560 Nm of torque, which is 70 hp and 20 Nm of torque more than the standard R8 V10. The sprint from 0 to 100 km/h can be done in 3.5 and the 0 to 200 km/h time is a noteworthy 9.9 seconds. Its maximum speed is 330 km/h.
The R8 V10 Plus gets the new Audi Space Frame chassis, leading to a reduction in the weight of the vehicle. The handling of the new Audi R8 V10 Plus is redefined by a new quattro setup with variable torque distribution. Besides the four driving modes also found on other performance Audis, a new performance mode on the Audi R8 V10 Plus allows you to choose between three pre-defined settings for ideal grip on dry roads, wet roads and snow.
